Pearland Color Guard

The visual
heart

Movement, expression, and precision. The guard performs with the marching band at football games, community events, and competitions all fall, then competes on its own all winter.

Fall season

We wear many hats

  • Dancers

Technique and choreography drawn from ballet, jazz, and modern dance.

  • Performers

Telling the story and carrying the emotion of each marching show so the music lands.

  • Equipment artists

Flags, rifles, and sabers, mastered until the toss looks easy.

Together, athleticism, artistry, and teamwork make performances that stay with an audience and lift every marching band production.

Winter and spring

Winter guard

From January through March, the Pearland Winter Guards compete as independent ensembles at local and statewide contests. Students audition onto the Varsity or Junior Varsity team.

Shows happen in gymnasiums and are set to recorded music, using the same dance, movement, and equipment skills built during marching season. Each show combines artistry, athleticism, and storytelling into a single indoor performance.
